Hussein Takes Over Office As New NISA Chief

The newly appointed NISA Chief Hussein Osman Hussein officially took over office on Wednesday.

The handing over ceremony was witnessed by the Defence Minister Mohamed Abukar Islow, a number of ministers and members of parliament at the agency’s headquarters in Mogadishu.

Mr. Hussein promised to be efficient in delivering services to the country.

Defence Minister Mr. Islow urged the new Chief to fulfil his duties well and also called on the agency staff to work with the new boss.

NISA has been without a boss for more than 3 months since the sacking of Abdullahi Mohamed Ali “Sanbaloolshe” after the October 29 hotel Nasa Hablod hotel.

Abdikadir Mohamed Nur “Jama” had been in charge as the acting Chief of the spy agency.
