PM Roble Holds Meeting With Security Officials
Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has on Tuesday met with top security officials including AMISOM officials in Mogadishu.
Prime Minister Roble instructed security agencies to intensify operations against al-Shabaab across the country and to tighten security in the capital during the parliamentary and presidential elections.
Prime Minister Roble instructed security agencies to focus on stepping up counter-terrorism operations across the country and to tighten security in the capital ahead of the upcoming parliamentary and presidential elections.
“H.E PM Mohamed Hussein Roble met today met with security officials and discussed the facilitation and security of elections,” his office said.
Somali and AMISOM officials briefed the Prime Minister on the overall security situation in the country and the security situation at the polling stations.
