FM Abdisaid holds telephone talk with US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdisaid Muse Ali, had a telephone conversation with the US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, Molly Phee, and the United States Special Representative for the Horn of Africa, Ambassador David Satterfield.
The talks focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Somalia and the United States in the areas of security, economy, development and regional affairs in the Horn of Africa.

Minister Abdisaid Muse Ali thanked the United States for its support of the Somali government.
The United States last week issued a warning that it was ready to impose sanctions on Somali leaders if the timeline for elections, scheduled for February 25, is not met.
