Body of Arab league Saudi envoy flown home from Mogadishu

The body of Dr. Hamud Alhuweydi, Arab league envoy who died in  last week in  Mogadishu after a short illness was on Saturday flown to Saudi Arabia.
Ministers from the federal government of Somalia Prayed Salatu Janaza on the deceased body as he was flown to Saudi Arabia.
“We feel the pain of losing the ambassador, He was down to earth person and sponsored the Somali constitution to be translated to Arabic he was given a medal of honour by the prime minister,” said Amb Ahmed isse Abad.
Al-Huweydi was born in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia in 1963.
Al-Huweydi was appointed in June 2017 to serve as ambassador to Somalia to head Arab League Mission in Somalia.
