Radio Dalsan is a leading private radio station in Somalia owned by Dalsan Media Group. Radio Dalsan is based in Mogadishu where it produces and broadcasts news, documentaries, entertainment, and religious programming in Somali. Radio Dalsan broadcasts through its transmitters in Mogadishu (91.5 MHz) in the Banadir region, Baidoa (100.1 MHz) in South West State, Dhusamareb (100.1 MHz) in the Galmudug State, and Jowhar (100.1 MHz) in the HirShabelle State.
In addition to radio, Radio Dalsan also provides news, opinion pieces, and podcasts through its website. The radio Dalsan Facebook and Twitter accounts are very popular in Somalia, with hundreds of thousands of followers. The website also has an English news section where non-Somali speakers can get news and information about Somalia in that language.
