  Alshabaab militants said to have been planning terror attacks in the semi autonomous  region. According to Awil Ahmed Farah of the Puntland  military court five of the militants were arrested as they were transporting explosives by a truck to Bossaso. Two of the executed were found guilty of killings in an attack in the city of  Galkacyo. Alshabaab has proved to be a menace in Puntland’s security. This month a dawn raid by the militant group saw some 50 plus Puntland soldiers killed in Af Urur military base less than 100Km from Bossaso.
