An unknown gunman shot dead two civilians in Mogadishu’s Wadajir district on Wednesday night.
Eyewitnesses in the area told Radio Dalsan that a man armed with an AK 47 rifle shot at a Tri-Cycle locally known as Bajaaj operator and a passenger before fleeing the scene.
The two bodies of the civilians who are yet to be identified were later collected by relatives.
It remained unclear what may have led to the incident as Security officials launched an investigation.
No arrest had been made by Thursday with the Somali Police not issuing an official statement on the incident.
Perpetrators of such heinous act mostly go away unpunished.
